Welcome to the Prejoin phase of Rhythm Theory. Join forms are now being accepted. Please include your favorite artist in the comments section of the join form, whether they have a set here yet or not.
Prejoin may last for up to a week or two, depending on how quickly I can get the games up. I do ask that unless I announce here that a game is open, please don't play any of the games, even if they show up on the games page. Also in the works is a forum that will be shared with Lyn's upcoming TCG, Still Dirrty.

We're still in prejoining! I've been slowly adding decks and less-slowly adding some games (just aren't linked on the games page). As of right now, I have 16 games in mind. 
Half of these games are already created and ready to be opened, so this is good! The tentative schedule will be 4 games updated every Tuesday, 4 every Thursday, 4 every other weekend, and 4 once a month. I'd like to have 6 games to update every Tuesday and Thursday, but I am wondering if this is too much? Should I take two of the monthly or bi-weekly games and move them into Tuesday/Thursday updates and just try to think of new games for them later? If you leave me a comment including the two following things, you may take a card of choice (and tell me what it is in the comment): Let me know what you think of the schedule and if you have any game ideas!
Also, during prejoin, for every member you refer, you will receive 2 random cards instead of one. This is not only to get more members, but to also help you get more cards while the games aren't available yet. ^_^

Rhythm Theory will open tomorrow!
The games are almost finished and thanks to Andrea, every level has a level badge, and some master badges will be up sometime this week. Tonight and part of the day tomorrow will be your last chance to get 2 cards per referral or if you're not already a member, to join during prejoin and receive your own prejoin card.
If you head over to the Games section, you can see the game titles and the tentative schedule for them. When it opens tomorrow, only the Weekend (and most likely the Monthly) section of Games will be open. On Tuesday, that section will open up, and so on.
I also wanted to say that I'll be on vacation from Thursday-Monday of next week, so Thursday games will be up Wednesday night/Thursday morning and Weekend games will most likely be updated Monday afternoon/night when I get home and settled.
I want to thank everyone who has joined during the prejoin, and I hope we get some more members before we open for reals!

Prejoin is over, and we are open! The Weekend games and Monthly games are all up and ready to be played! I have tested all of them, but if you encounter any problems, please let me know!I hope all of them are enjoyable and the prize is in line with the difficulty. I hope they're not too easy, but I was more worried this time around about having working games ^_^ I hope that's okay! If everyone wants there to be puzzle cards for solving the puzzle, I can make those as well, but I wasn't sure if they'd honestly be collected.
About the prejoin deck: I wanted 10 cards for this deck and we only had 5 members in prejoin (maybe I went too fast?). My solution was to make the other five cards myself. I already made 01 because I wanted to >.< However, getting on to my solution, each prejoin member may take a second card from the prejoin deck, but it must be one of the cards that I made: 01 or one from 07-10. Please comment with which second prejoin card you have taken! I hope this is alright with everyone. From now on, the cards are only able to be bought with currency.
I hope the revised schedule is okay with everyone - if it gets to be too much, I will move the Weekend games back to a bi-weekly schedule. Everything is open to change and feedback at this stage, so please let me know your thoughts and opinions!

Oh boy, I actually got more done than I thought I would! All of the games are done and, as promised, the Tuesday games are up and open! A few new members have joined since RT opened, which is very exciting, so welcome to Shell, Restless, and Katharine! There are also some new level badges thanks to Aj featuring Oomph!
I finished a few decks: AKFG - AKFG, alicenine - Alice Nine, beatles - The Beatles, merry - Merry, rancid - Rancid, lightssounds - Yellowcard's "Lights and Sounds," hereitgoes - OK Go's "Here It Goes Again."
Take 5 cards, but make sure they're all from different sets! Comment on this update which cards you took!
A big thanks to Misaki, who donated some image sets, including this update's Alice Nine, AKFG, and Merry sets! Let me know if I made any mistakes >.< I'm also looking to make more video sets (to help the variety in the random prizes), so if you have any suggestions or want to donate some screen caps, please do so!
I'm still contemplating making the Weekend games bi-weekly, but I'll try it out first. School starts for me at the beginning of October, so we'll see ^^;; Let me know if the updates are too fast/much/anything else.

Thursday games are now open! We've also welcomed some more new members, we're up to ten members now! ^_^ I finally added some master badges. If you look at the bittersweet set, I will be making basic master badges similar to that for every deck, just so each set has a master badge. When you master a deck, you can have them personalized if you choose those badges - just let me know. I want to thank everyone for their image donations and set suggestions! I've been working hard, mostly behind the scenes, so I hope the TCG has been shaping up a bit. I would also like to work on the Extras section a little more next week (trade cards, trading pot, build a deck, ...uh more things...).
Another thing I have to remind everyone of is that I am leaving tomorrow for vacation. I won't be back until Monday afternoon. Tuesday's update (hopefully) won't be affected at all. However, the weekend update will be added on to Tuesday's update, or I'll create a couple decks instead and we'll skip the weekend games for one week. Let me know which you'd rather me do in a comment and majority wins. Also when you comment, take any 09 card (since we're in September!) and let me know which you took. ...Now off to bed, it's 3am and I still have to sleep, wake up, and pack! >.<

I am home (and very tired)! Me and Lyn had a lot of fun at the beach and shopping, so the nice break was well worth the tiring plane rides! Anyway, I'm home now and I've been doing some work already! RT has some new affiliates, so please go over to the Affiliates page and check them out - if you join Fictional, say Sarah referred you - please! There are also a few new members, so look them up for some trading once they get cards up and make them feel welcome!
I also updated the Weekend games to give you an extra day to work on them instead of putting them with Tuesday's updates. I moved On the Cover to Monthly games, mainly just to even out the numbers a bit. I didn't like Monthly only having three. The freebies up that way ^ are also updated, so don't forget to take your freebie and comment with what you took.
Also, there is a new rule I'd like everyone to make sure they take note of. It is on the Rules page, but it is just that if more than one card from the same set comes up in a choice of prizes and you're allowed more than one card, please only take one from the same set. If you took more than one from the same set in the past, it's just fine, this is only in effect from now on.
I believe all forms/e-mails have been answered. If you didn't get a reply, please resend it. There are a few pages in Extras that I would like to get up, so don't be surprised to see another update later tonight, whether I get those up or update the Tuesday games a few hours early to get more time to spend on the new pages.
EDIT - I updated Tuesday's games. Sorry for them being a bit early, but I'd like to try and work on some other things tonight, on and off this TCG. I hope you understand! ^_^

This is a quick update because I'm pissed off about something totally unrelated to Rhythm Theory that I shouldn't be mad about and I need to go eat sweets or take some sort of headache killer, I'm not sure which yet. I put up a Referral Contest, Graphic Contest, Build a Deck, and Card Exchange. All of these things are located under Extras. Take a look at those, I hope everyone likes them. If you have any more ideas for Extras, comment on this entry and let me know.
I also want to thank everyone that has joined and been active so far. I've had some of the best people participating in this TCG and I really appreciate having people that make me feel like I made something enjoyable.

I added a box on the Master form to allow you to choose whether or not you'd like one of the personalized master badges. Originally, I was creating them for each master, but I have changed this for two reasons. First and foremost, I want to encourage members to donate master badges. Andrea has been the only donator so far, but I really liked hers and I'd like more member-created badges in the future. Secondly, I don't want to make anyone feel like they have to use the badges that I've created as opposed to the other badges offered on the site. However, if you would like one of the personalized badges, I'll be more than happy to make one for you, just put "yes" on the form. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, an example of one of the badges is here.
Weekend games will be updated on Sunday, as I have orientation and my first class of graduate school tomorrow morning. Take one 15 card from any deck, my graduate program lasts 15 months >.< Comment with what you took. Also, next on my list of things to do is forums, so I will try to figure those out within the next week or two.

As promised, weekend games are updated! Grad school is scary with apparently lots and lots of homework (I didn't think computer based-majors would have so many papers to write >.<), so some weeks games might be a day or so late (or possibly early, depending on when I have time) - but I'm going to try and stick to schedule! If anything is going to go off-schedule, I will keep you informed, that's a promise. Okay so technically they are a day early, but Tuesday games have been updated! I have a few errands to run and a doctor appointment before school tomorrow, so I was afraid it wouldn't be until this time tomorrow that I got to update - so they're up now instead! I hope early is better than late for everyone. All forms have also been answered - so congratulations to all the masters I've had lately! ^_^ Try not to forget about the graphic and referral contests, or anything else over on the Extras page!
One more thing - I will be out of town from Wednesday-Friday. I will have access to a computer, but I'm not sure for how long. I'll try to get the game graphics for the Thursday update made in advance so I can possibly sneak on and update in time. If games aren't updated Thursday, look for them Friday night.

Sorry to tell you - Thursday games are updated! I'm early again, I know! I'm sorry if the early updates are throwing anyone off - I don't mean to take away time left to play the games, hopefully I'm not going too fast. I wasn't sure if I'd get a lot of time to update between now and Friday evening, so games are updated now. Any forms sent in won't be answered until Friday, so if you wonder why I'm not replying, that's why! When I get back, there are some new sets to put up, so hopefully I'll be able to get those up in time for the Weekend games update. Weekend games and freebies ^ are updated! I'm also a member now, I tried to work out a fair way of playing. There are certain things I won't participate in and I don't earn tokens from games. I get cards for updating games and creating card sets. Lyn has been helping me make card sets from the beginning, so from now on, she will be earning the same rewards for creating card sets as I do. It is actually less than donating image sets, so I really appreciate the help. I'm going to work on some homework and try to get up a few new sets and *crosses fingers* a forum sometime this week (I'm obviously not really understanding much about the forum business, but I'll figure it out!).

Okay, so it isn't really the 12th yet where I am, but it's close! So I'm going to go ahead and post anyway. Thursday games are updated! You may notice that in Undercover, you can now choose an album card instead of taking 2 regular cards. They come from the brand new album covers set! This set will be updated periodically, I like to pay attention to what the members want, so I got a lot of the covers from favorite albums posted in the forums. Some of them are also some of my favorite albums. You can take an album cover card from this update and comment with which one you took! I hope you all like them! ^_^

It's almost Tuesday, so Tuesday games are updated! I have a ton of homework to get done so I got the games done now so I can stop worrying about them! ^_^ I also feel sick coming on so I wanted to get it done in case I have to spend tomorrow in bed before class. I also redid cards 01-08 of the Good Charlotte (gc) set. I felt like they were a bit too low quality and replaced them with better looking images. If you're interested in having a member card, but can't work graphics programs, head over to the forums - I'll make one for you. Oh, and I also wanted to mention that yes, you can count past trades when you start your first trade card and no, member card trades don't count, only trades with cards worth 1 or more. I tried to find some decent images for the Graphic Contest, but I haven't found any that strike my fancy and have others from the same set - all I can tell you is that it's going to be Ville Valo from HIM. If I get some time, I'll look around some more tomorrow. Okay, the Weekend games and the freebies up there ^ are updated. Along with those, the Grapic Contest is open for a new round, as is Build a Deck. Levels Eleven-Fifteen have also been added (and their master badges). As of ... right now, all forms have been answered in the forum and my e-mail is empty of unanswered mail. It feels nice to catch up on a few things! I also want to apologize for the update being an hour and half past the weekend ending where I am, I spent about 7 hours today writing a 10-page paper for school. At least its done! Happy Halloween! I'm so excited, it's just too bad I have to go to class tonight. I updated just a couple things today, since I had to write (another, but shorter this time!) paper. Tuesday games are updated and we have a new special set starting! This update is a little piddly compared to yesterday's, but in yesterday's update, you didn't get a very special card! The new card set is holidays! You can take the first card from the set, plus one 03 card and one 01 card, they just have to be from separate sets! Comment on this update what you took and I hope you like this Halloween card! I was going to make them more musically-related but I thought this would be better for everyone to enjoy them, no matter what genre or bands they like!

I'm feeling a little bit under the weather, but I managed to update with Thursday games and 10 new card sets. Thank you to everyone who donated sets, I'm going to try and get your prizes out to you soon after I post this! The new sets are: blondes - The Long Blondes, danity - Danity Kane, letigre - Le Tigre, panic - Panic! at the Disco, pistols - Sex Pistols, psycho - Psycho le Cému, russia - ¡Forward, Russia!, teddy - Teddy Geiger, theused - The Used, tmr - T.M. I have no idea who about half of them are, so if I messed anything up on any of them, let me know in your comment ^^; I have some things (quite a few) to attend to this weekend, along with not feeling well, but I will get the weekend updates up whenever possible this weekend.
Oh, and starting this month, image donation rewards will be cut back with the rest to 1 set per month. I increased it to 3 per month while RT was starting out, but we have tons of sets and a lot more image donations on my computer, so I thought it would be a good time to cut it back.

I'm so sorry games (and this update) are a bit late, but Tuesday games are now updated. I also managed to get the sets up that have been made in the past week, so you can take six cards from the new sets listed below, and no more than two cards from any one set - don't forget to comment with which cards you took. It has been a very long week and Thursday games are not updated, but they will be updated this weekend along with the Weekend games. Alright, I managed to update the Thursday and Weekend games! Aj also donated some level badges for levels 11-15, so thank you for those, they look great! I'm all caught up in the forums and in my e-mail and I will most likely only be checking in on them only once or twice tomorrow as I sort through my homework and attend to a few errands I have to run. I plan on getting a few card sets done throughout next week, so hopefully I can put a set or two up on Tuesday or Thursday.

Trivia has been deleted because at the moment, I don't have time to reply to all of the forms that come in, and differences in source information has been causing some problems. It might return in the future when I have a lot more time, but as of right now, I would rather concentrate on replying to join, level up, and master forms in my e-mail - I hope everyone understands! Tuesday games are updated and I got through everything that was on the forums and in my e-mail. Carrie donated a set of level badges - thank you for those! Rhythm Theory also has a new member, CATiEBUG, so welcome to her! The only thing I have left to do is give out cards for voting in the Graphic Contest, I will try to get to that tomorrow night! I'm a bit sad I missed Fall Out Boy on the American Music Awards, BUT in class tonight, I turned in a 15-page paper and did (literally) about a 45 minute presentation on it - to celebrate, my dad and I are going to watch some Lord of the Rings tomorrow! Okay, Weekend games are updated (I put one of my favorite band members in the Dismembered, so that was a little fan service for myself)! I haven't gotten to forms, and I apologize for that! It's been busy with Thanksgiving and then last night I went to see the Plain White T's, Jack's Mannequin (yay!), and Panic! at the Disco. I will try to get all forms answered by the middle of the week. If anything is urgent (though I'm really not sure what is really urgent in the world of TCGs), the best (and quickest) way to get in touch with me is in the forums.
One more thing, the Graphic Contest is over, the prizes will be handed out soon. The next Graphic Contest may be similar to the one over at the lovely TCG, Photo Op. in that it may be a certain size and a puzzle set would be made from it. However, I have my own small spin I'd like to put on it. I have a ton of updating what I like to refer to as "the paperwork," which just means updating the Member page, putting masters on card pages, updating Build a Deck, etc. This week is going to be busy for me, as my last class for this quarter is a week from today and I have quite a few things to catch up on for the last class. I will attempt to update the Tuesday and Thursday games together. If you haven't gotten a chance to play them, I would try to get to them soon, because that update might occur sometime late tonight if I decide to stay up late and just get them done!

Hello and welcome to December! We got eight inches of snow last night and it's gorgeous, but Valo (my car) isn't happy about it. I was supposed to go to a few places yesterday so I can finish the last few papers and projects I need to do, but the sleet and ice prevented that. I've still been busy and feeling down a lot lately, so I haven't kept up with updates like I should. To make up for it, I've updated Tuesday, Thursday, and Weekend games. I still need to give out prizes for the Graphic Contest, but other than that, I think everything is almost up to date. We have a couple new members: Meg, Marie, and Dirty Diamond - welcome! Marie also donated a set of level badges that are now up! I want to thank everyone for being patient with me. I'm going to spend the rest of the evening working on my trade post and trying to make an entry for a contest that Fall Out Boy is holding to design the cover graphic for them to use on their iTunes preorder. Then back to homework >.<
Oh! I almost forgot. Level up, master, and doubles forms have been taken down. It takes too long for me to answer e-mails, and it's a lot easier for me to use the forums. I hope everyone is okay with this, because I like doing it a lot better this way.
One more thing: I haven't forgotten about image donations. They are all safe and sound on my computer and I'm going to hopefully get a chance to work on them when school ends.

After class tonight, I slipped on a patch of ice on the sidewalk and scraped up my knee. It is actually fine, but I haven't had a scraped knee in a while, so I feel the need to share the not-very-important news. In Rhythm Theory news, I updated Tuesday games and caught up on most of the paperwork behind the scenes. There are quite a few things I'd like to get to work on, but right now I'm exhausted just thinking about the school work I need to catch up on (not hard, it will just take some time!) and the things I'd like to do around here. I actually almost updated this without actually updating the games, just getting the answers together, and then put the answers to games in the wrong password gates >.< I think that is my sign to get some rest!

Thursday games are updated! The freebies at the top of this page are also updated! All forms have been answered as of the last time I checked, about five minutes ago. Member list and masters on card pages are also updated. Graphic Challenge prizes are in the Contest section of the forums - Congratulations to the winners and a big thank you to everyone who entered! All I have left to do is put up the lovely donations from Nikki (which I will be doing directly after posting this), and I'll be all caught up. ^_^ I'm excited, because after a bit more writing, I'll be all caught up and done with this quarter of school! Only 4 more to go!
I didn't think I could write another paper earlier this afternoon, so I tried to work through some of the suggested sets and donated images. The end result? Seven new sets! Thank you to all of you who donated images! One more semi-important thing. I noticed I had messed up some things on the members page by putting a few people at the wrong level. If everyone could check over there at some point and just make sure you're at the right level, I would appreciate it! If you're not at the right spot, or something is wrong, either let me know in a comment to this update or fill out a Contact form and I'll correct it! Also let me know if I messed anything up with the new card sets, I'm not familiar with most of the artists, so I might've made a mistake somewhere with a name or something. Thanks!

Weekend games are updated! I apologize for being a day late on it, but I have a good reason! I've been finishing up for my class, we got a new puppy, and I made some more sets. I suppose that would make it reasons, not just one reason! I got through a few of the image donations, plus made a couple of video sets because I felt like I should add a couple in addition to the set that had been donated (I hope to get a few more done soon). Anyway, there are seven new sets! I want to thank everyone who has donated images, especially Nikki and Catherine who donated some of the image sets for this update. I've been slow on them lately, but I'm trying to pick up now as school is wrapping up for a couple weeks.

Tuesday games are updated! I also made a new layout, but since I saw the new My Chemical Romance video for "Famous Last Words" tonight and was all excited over it, the new layout is going to wait a day or two. My last class until the next one starts in the beginning of January was tonight, so aside from a couple things I have to attend to between now and then, I'll have some free time to work on a few things around the site. My main objective is to try and get through at least the majority the image donations sitting in the folder and get some more album cards made. So like I said yesterday, if you want to donate some images, or even suggest a set, the next couple weeks would be a good time to do it! ^_^
Oh, and if you got some new cards in the last update and the comments were down, please make sure you comment now that they seem to be back up. Thanks!

Okay, Thursday games are updated! It was my plan to make a few more sets for this update, but I ended up running some errands, and now I'm not feeling very well. I'm pretty much caught up on forms and those kinds of things, but I changed some of the basic code for the pages in a way that cleans it up and makes it easier to create new layouts. The only downside is that I'm going to have to go through every page on the site and make the changes. New sets are coming, but the code changes will probably take up some time throughout the next few days or so.
I also need to clean up the member list. In a couple days, I'm going to go through the trade posts on the members list. If the trade log doesn't show any activity for the past month, I'm going to put those members on an inactive list and if I haven't heard from them in a month and their trade posts haven't been touched, I'm going to remove them from the list. If you are going to be on an extended hiatus and haven't let me know, please do so. I completely understand that life comes before TCGs and I'll be more than happy to put you on hiatus for as long as you need. ^_^

Alright, Weekend games are updated, and I believe I got to everything that had been waiting in my e-mail and on the forums, so if you didn't receive a reply to something, please resend (or make an extra reply to the thread if it is in the forums to bring it to my attention). I put the new layout up a couple days ago, it's just a quick one for the holidays! Hopefully I can pick up some things in my web design class next quarter (and get rid of this horrible artist's block with graphics >.<). Tuesday games are updated! I'm getting ready to move onto the level ups and masters in the forums. I don't have too much to say or update on, as I've been pretty busy off the computer. I'm just hoping for some downtime soon where I can sit back and read some MegaTokyo. I bought the books and haven't gotten a chance to go through the extra materials yet.
I also wanted to thank everyone again for all of the image (and other!) donations, I assure you that they're all resting nicely in my image donation folder and I will work my way through them all. Don't forget that you can request/donate video decks, as well, if there are any you'd like to see.

Thursday games are updated. Sorry it was late, but I seem to keep updating in the early morning hours of the next day. Usually I put it off until afternoon and then something comes up. I need to not procastinate! Tonight, I went on some (mis)adventures with some friends in the process of going to and from a park Christmas light display. I have some things I'm trying to get accomplished to put up on Monday, so I hope everyone considers them a good gift from me to you! I'll try to get the Weekend games updated either early or on time, but the holidays (as you probably know!) are pretty crazy.
Edit: Sometime after Christmas, I am going to put the TCG on hiatus long enough to make a decent layout and recode for PHP. I will keep the forums active over that time, trying to give out freebies, or playing random games with everyone to allow you to still earn some cards. If my graphic block continues, I may have a challenge to design the new layout graphic. Hopefully I can get Photoshop and my head to work together! Alright, that is all for now! ^_^

Happy Holidays! I have a few gifts for everyone, including eleven new sets, two Christmas songs, a holiday card, and the freebies up top being updated! I apologize for not getting to the Weekend games, but I hope that this update makes up for that! I'm going to try and throw them in with the Tuesday games, anyway. I've also done some basic catching up around the site, adding the trade cards that Aj and Nikki donated, as well as putting up some master badges in their rightful places on card pages. Most of my work the past week has gone into this update, though!

Everything is calm(er) again. Tuesday and Weekend games are updated. Safe to say I'm exhausted! My three best friends (from two different cities) are coming into town this weekend for New Years, so I'm really excited, but I'm going to (attempt to) keep up with on-time updates! If any get postponed, it will be the Weekend games. Thursday games should go up around my scheduled time (usually Thursday night). I also added some donated link buttons and trade cards from mainmise - thank you for donating those! I want to thank Aj, Nikki, and mainmise for donating some trade cards, now everyone doesn't have to use (the very lovely) My Chemical Romance if they don't want to! There are several good looking more to choose from! Now that the Christmas update is over, I'm afraid next on my list is creating (or trying to, at least) a decent layout while I still have free time before school starts back up next week.

Welcome to the new version of Rhythm Theory! Thank you for being patient with me throughout the short hiatus! I have updated all of the games (Tuesday, Thursday, Weekend, and Monthy). I have some new card sets that I am getting ready to put up later this week, and I'm still working on the forum. However, I decided I'd rather not let those hold back reopening the TCG! I am a lot happier with the look of it now (both superficially and coding-wise). I have tried to update everything to reflect any changes that occured over th hiatus, such as masters and level ups, but if something is wrong, please let me know! I'll fix it.

Small update! We had a huge ice storm hit throughout the past three days that completely took out power for the majority of the area in which I live, so it has been a mess. However, my school is one of those places still without power, which means that I didn't have school tonight, and had time to make some small updates. I've added some donations, answered more forms, and there are a couple new sets. Along with posting the new sets, the X Japan has been fixed to have the right name. If you took a card from the set in the previous update, replace those cards with the new cards.

Tuesday games have been updated! It feels quite good to be back into the routine again. There are only a few things that I want to talk about in this update, so I'll try to keep it short and sweet.
First of all, there is a contest in the forum to design new master badges. The personalized badges that I designed were pretty plain, because at the time I was making them, I was pretty busy. I'd really like badges a little nicer, so the contest is basically to design a template that I can use to make personalized master badges. If you're interested, check it out in the Contest section of the forum.
The second thing that I wanted to let everyone know about is that Emma created a group for Rhythm Theory members over at Last.fm. If you're a member of the site, please join the group! If not, Last.fm is a pretty interesting site, so at least give it a look over, and if you decide to join, make sure you join the Rhythm Theory group! Thanks for creating that, Emma!

First of all, I'd like to apologize for missing Thursday games yesterday. I have no real excuse except for I redid my trade post and completely forgot about the games! I'm sorry about that! However, Thursday games are now updated! I also changed the Weekend games to Bi-Weekly, I hope that is okay with everyone. I'd like to use the time every other week to get other things done around the TCG (maybe some homework if I get really motivated). The last two things I wanted to remind everyone of is the contest in the Contest section of the forum, and the Rhythm Theory group on Last.fm. Anyone who joins the group will receive 75 tokens (one 25 token and one 50 token) from me. I thought it would be a nice tiny gift for those who join, and not too high that it is unfair for those who wish not to join.
Since Thursday games were a day late, everyone can take one card of choice. Comment with which card you picked and please include something else in your comment - I would like to hold a contest that members who don't make graphics could participate in, but the only one I tried to hold (a referral contest) didn't work out, so if you have any ideas, please include them with your comment! Thursday games are updated! I've been steadily getting more and more sick from the cold that started around the last update I made, so I didn't get a lot done, but I did get some things done that I had been wanting to do. I was worried that the forums were going to take me forever to figure out, but thanks to Nikki's help in understanding how to customize, they are now up! Over on the navigation, the Forum link will now take you to the new forums, while the Old Forum link will take you to the old forums, where you can pick up any last rewards and/or your post count. Post counts from the old forum will be carried over into the new forum, and there is a thread for it in the Announcements section. I hopefully carried most things over from the old forum, but I am leaving it up for a couple weeks to allow for everyone to pick up things or let me know if I forgot to move anything over. The size of this update was unplanned, but I needed a distraction and thankfully Lyn was willing to spend a couple hours helping me out.

Well I have some bad news and some good news. The bad news first, so the good news can cushion it. The bad news is that someone in my family is seriously ill, so I may be slower than usual on updating or responding to forms, though I will be doing the best I can. It usually helps me to keep myself busy, so I will be getting things done here and there, I won't be disappearing. After all, I still have plans to work out for something I'd like to get started here. I do not plan on closing or going on hiatus. I also don't plan on missing a lot of updates (hopefully I won't miss any).
The good news is that Tuesday games are updated, and Lyn and I have made another dent into the set donations (but I didn't have time to get any uploaded for this update, sorry! Expect them soon!). Thank you so much to everyone who has been donating, it makes the creation of sets go a lot faster when you're not hunting down images.
I cleared out my Affiliates page from TCGs that have closed or have appeared to stop updating. If you were an Affiliate and wrongly removed, please send me a contact form. The Inactive Members list on the Members page will be cleared out on February 1st. If you're on it, you already received an e-mail from me, but just in case you haven't and you would like to stay, send in a Contact form.
Don't forget the master badge contest is about to close in the forum, so if you wanted to enter, make sure you get that entry posted on January 31st at the latest! You get 2 random cards just for entering, so why not give it a shot?
Speaking of contests and competitions, I'm slowly trying to working out something in my head for the TCG. Think of something that Fictional and Soulmates (two very awesome TCGs - you can find them on the Affiliates page) have in common. Oh and if you're not a member of either of those, I highly suggest you do if they interest you. I'm a member and love them to bits.

While you're in the forum, there is now a Puzzle Graphic Contest (for the upcoming puzzle sets that Rhythm Theory will have!), a Forum Header Contest, and a thread in the Questions and Suggestions forum that I would like everyone to take a look at if you have some time.
There is a new section that I hope that people will like: Weekly Listen, found under Etc. in the Fun section. Each week, it will feature a song from a different band or artist. This week's song is from Fall Out Boy's new CD, Infinity on High (yay!) that came out today. Take a look at the page for the song and information on how to send in music to be featured in the future.
A couple last things: Build a Deck is down to one card, so as soon as someone sends it in, a new round will begin! A few new (and more) cards will be added to the Card Exchange. Last and most importantly, I finished Ouran High School Host Club and it was wonderful.

Slightly past midnight into Friday where I am, but Thursday games are now updated, and so are the sidebar freebies! It was a long day, which was perfectly capped off when I accidentally had some skin scraped off my thumb by a shelf at the grocery store and started bleeding >.< I had to hurry to find an employee and get some tissues and a band-aid. Back to things that actually relate to RT, Lyn made some sets, but I just didn't have the energy to put them up, so I promise they will be up sometime next week. I also didn't get a chance to put an end to the Master Badge Contest in the forum, but since less than one third of the members have voted, I think it might be a good idea to at least leave the voting open through the weekend. I hope that doesn't offend anyone. It doesn't take but a minute to vote and get your random card.
Surgery for my family member is scheduled for Monday (and I have to leave from the hospital to go to my night class and present a project...), so if things get neglected through the beginning of next week, that is what I'm probably busy with. Bi-Weekly games are due to be updated, so I will try to get them updated over the weekend, or sometime next week (monthly are actually due as well). I don't want to skip them completely, but we'll see how everything develops.

I don't have much time to update, I have to be in class to turn in a midterm and give a presentation in less than an hour. Today was a big mess of writing a paper at 8am and being at the hospital for 6 hours. I rushed through updating Weekend and Monthly games between the hospital and class, so they are completely updated. I have some forms in my e-mail, and probably some in the forums, but I will try to get to those tonight. There is a good chance of me crashing after class, though. If that is the case, I'll try to get to them sometime in the next few days. I'm really sorry, my head is in about a million different places. Hospital, school, broken heart, the joy never stops these past few days! I also have a ton of sets that Lyn has been nice enough to make for me, so hopefully I'll be able to get those up sometime this week as well.
One more quick note, if you don't like a lot of sets here, please feel free to suggest new sets in the forum. You don't have to donate the images in order to suggest a set. If nothing else, I'll try to collect the images myself for a set. I want there to be sets for everyone.

Thursday games are updated. I'm caught up on everything now (forms, lovely donations, etc), except the image donations - those are slowly being worked on, though! Don't be afraid to suggest or donate new sets, either! Most of the sets are made from image donations (except the few that me or Lyn throw in just because we want to make them), so if you don't suggest or donate, I have no idea what you want to collect! Suggestions and donations should be made in the forum - the Suggestion thread is located in the Rhythm Theory section towards the top of the forum.
Speaking of image donations and new sets, there are four more new sets today. Once again, I put up two regular sets and two video sets. Three out of the four are from image donations, so thank you to Emma and Nikki!

Tuesday games are updated. I have just a couple more things in this update before I get to work on making some more card sets for the next update. I am thinking about organizing these updates a little better, but if they were organized and pretty, they wouldn't be very Sarah, now would they? Okay, so really, I need to start organizing...maybe next week.
The Weekly Listen has been updated and features "Time Bomb" by Rancid, so if you haven't checked them out before or haven't heard this song, you can download it this week!
In the forum, there are a few threads to take note of and participate in. First, the Puzzle Graphic Contest is up for voting for one week. You get a random card just for voting, and the winning graphic is going to be the very first puzzle set! Next up is a reminder about the Forum Header Contest, which will end next week. Don't forget to get your graphics in - every entry receives 2 random cards just for being submitted! The last thing in the forum you should take a look at is Suggest a Set! For every five sets you suggest, you will receive 1 random card (up to 2 random cards per week).
I forgot to make a Valentine's Day card last week until after I had updated, so I got one done today and everyone make take the holiday card below! Don't forget to comment when you take it!

Thursday update time! Thursday games and the sidebar freebies are both updated! I adjusted some of the rewards in the Thursday games to try and balance them out according to the feedback that everyone gave in the forum. Thank you to everyone who has been posting suggestions, I really appreciate it!

Over in the forums, there are only five more days to vote in the Puzzle Graphic Contest, so please get your vote in! You receive one random card just for voting, and the contest will decide the first puzzle set at Rhythm Theory! While you're in the forums, you might also want to check out the Forum Header Contest or Suggest a Set - both can help you earn some cards! Starting in March, I am now planning for the limit on image donations will be raised and the reward will be lowered, but it should balance out, especially for those of you who donate multiple sets. Any opinions on this should be voiced in this thread.

After a bit of frustration, the Bi-Weekly games are updated! I have been having some troubles with the place I host my domain through, so if the site becomes a bit choppy (especially later in the week), I apologize! Hopefully it will all be resolved very soon.

The Contest section of the forum will be seeing some action for the Tuesday update! The Forum Header Contest closes for entries by the end of the day Monday (tomorrow), and voting for the Puzzle Graphic Contest ends on Tuesday. Get your entries and/or vote in before it is too late!
Image donation rules have been changed. Up to three sets per month can be donated, and the reward will be two random cards and a card from the new set (per set donated). If you donate three sets all at one time, I will include a card of choice. As always, any donations over this limit will be accepted, but the reward reduces to one card from the new set. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get in contact with me, I will do what I can to help.
I haven't mentioned this in a while, but I'd like to remind anyone that has an account at or is interested in joining Last.fm that we have our very own group! Thanks for being patient with me, everyone! My domain is moved over to a new hosting company, and hopefully this will work out a lot better than what I had before. Aside from that, I now have a lot more room to work with! I finished the move and some of the recoding I had to do yesterday, but I wanted to get everything updated before I posted anything. To get to the point, Tuesday and Thursday games are all updated, as is everything in the forum.
Congratulations to Alexandria (5) and Emma (11) for leveling up, and an extra congratulations to Emma for mastering aero!
There are quite a few things replied to in the forums, but I'll touch on a few things here. In the way of contests, the prizes for the Puzzle Graphic Contest #1 are now posted, and Puzzle Graphic Contest #2 is up. The deadline for round 2 is March 14th.
Forum Header Contest voting is open and going on through March 10th. Make sure you stop in and vote for your favorite. You will receive a random card if you reply to the thread when you vote, so take a second and stop in and vote!
There is only one other thread that I'm asking people to drop in and vote on, and that is a poll I created to determine what the look of the Puzzle Cards should be. I already have them made a certain way, but before I release them, I'd rather everyone was happy with the way they're done.

Thursday games are updated, plus I got around to a few other things I needed to do. I also got a job yesterday, so I'm in a bit of a better mood than I have been lately. The job starts mid-April, so in about a month, I may have less time and I might have to move around how games are updated to make up for the changes in my schedule. Hopefully it won't affect Rhythm Theory too much at all, but we'll see!

I've gotten the side bar freebies and the Tuesday games updated. Forms should all be answered, both in my e-mail and in the forum. I spent some time today working on something for the TCG, but since I will be away part of next week, I decided it would be better held until I return. Which brings me to my vacation - I'll be away from this Sunday through the following Thursday. I'll be bringing my laptop with me, but whether or not I'll have internet access is another thing completely. I don't like not updating, but it is looking like after this Thursday, the next update may not be until next weekend. I have a hard time taking vacations and actually letting myself not worry about everything I'm not doing. >.< Hopefully I'll manage to relax, especially since I finished my second quarter of grad school last night!

Hello! The Thursday games and the Weekly Listen are updated! This update is a relatively short one, as I spent most of the day reading instead of getting ready for vacation or doing anything I should have been doing! ^^;
Congratulations to Avori and Britti for reaching level 2, Emma for mastering geri, and Alexandria for completing a trade card! Unfortunately, Misaki has had to go on hiatus for the time being.
Over the weekend was a very important holiday, which I most definitely did not overlook. I've made a holidays card featuing St. Patrick's Day, which everyone may take, as long as you comment this entry to let me know you've taken it!

Oi! Hello from vacation! I'm a bit out of the way to be on the internet, but I popped into a place with access for a few minutes to clean up the forums (Lyn alerted me to some problems that she was thankfully able to delete in the meantime). If your account on the forum was deleted by myself on accident, I'm sorry! I only deleted accounts with unfamiliar names and zero posts.
I also wanted to post an update here and let everyone know that the next update will be on Tuesday, when hopefully regular updates will resume. When I get home, I plan to spend the weekend getting some things done for school and answering all e-mails and forms in the forums. I hope everyone is having a good week and has a great weekend!

Hi everyone! A bit of an announcement about games before I get to everything else: instead of grouped by days, they are now in three numbered groups. I'd like to keep updating a group or two per week, but this way it is more flexible in that I can pick which I update. Plus, if I have to miss an update for something, I don't feel as bad that the day passes and I didn't get to update. None of them are updated at this point, but I will hopefully get a chance to update a group later today or tomorrow. However, sidebar freebies are updated, so make sure you take one and comment!
I answered all of the forms in my e-mail, plus the master, level up, and shop forms in the forums. From now on, Emma will be answering level up and shop forms, and Nikki will be answering your post count and doubles! Thank you so much to both of you for helping out!

Group Two games are updated! Work and school have been keeping me pretty busy (and pretty knackered), so I haven't had a chance to get much else done, save a few forms in the forum.
I've slightly altered and updated the weekly listen, I quite like the new format, and I hope everyone else does, too! If anyone ever wants to suggest an artist to be featured, just let me know who and what videos or song you recommend!
